Should You Prepare for Global Cooling

prepare for global cooling

Prepare for global cooling – should you? There are differing views on this subject. People in Arizona would tell you that this has been our hottest summer in years – and it’s still hot at the time of writing this article.
Say what, you say? You probably all remember the article I wrote on whether you should or should not prepare for global warming? Since every theory or thing has 2 sides to it, now we’re going to look at the other side of global warming, which would be cooling.

What is Global Cooling?

I really like the way that wiseGEEK defines it. Here is what the website says:

Global cooling is a theory first posed in the 1970s by Russian scientists, which states that the worldwide yearly temperature is steadily declining. The idea of global cooling created modern ice age scares in the 1970s and 1980s but was largely ignored by popular culture after global warming became a public concern. Global cooling may be caused by human pollution, orbital forcing, or global warming.

That’s easy to understand, right? It tells us when the theory was first suggested and what it is. Just what we wanted.

There are tons of articles that support global warming, but not so many current articles for our present discussion. So what am I to do? How do I provide you support on whether or not you should prepare for global cooling.

Here is what I’m going to do. I am going to provide you with the names of articles that support global cooling, along with their websites. In order to do this, my research needs to meet two criteria:

  1. The article must have been written within the last year.
  2. The article must not be so complex that it would take an Einstein to understand it.

Now it is my expectation that You need to do your own research so You can come up with your own hypothesis. Should you prepare for global cooling? You tell me.

So here we go.

Rapid Global Cooling Alert Could Trigger Freeze-Up Of Warming ‘Science’ – This was published by Technocracy on November 7, 2016 regarding an article written by Dr. Mark Sircus on September 2, 2016. One comment I found interesting was,

No matter how many times the press and the government has screamed at us that that we are living in a warming world Nature is screaming louder that it is getting cooler.

Physicist who foresees global cooling says other scientists tried to ‘silence’ her. I find this interesting, and can relate. For a long time, the only acceptable thought process was that Earth’s atmosphere was warming up – period. The physicist is Valentina Zharkova, a professor at Northumbria University at Newcastle in the United Kingdom. The article itself was posted on The Washington Times on August 10, 2016.

Okay, let’s take one more.

Global Cooling is not a hot topic!

I don’t know if you know this or not, but there are not a lot of articles at all about global cooling, let alone recent ones. My purpose in writing this article is to at least introduce this concept so you can make an informed decision as to whether you should prepare for it.

There are pros and cons. It depends on what part of the world you are in. Are there other things that you would be better off spending your time in preparing than global cooling? I hate to tell you that I can’t give you the answer. The ultimate decision on what you should prepare for is entirely up to you. I can share my knowledge with you about how and why you should prepare to bug in. Ultimately though, to prepare for anything depending on your circumstances, is to survive!
